Leadership Coach for CEOs and Senior Leaders

A private space to think, for people who've spent years thinking for everyone else.

Who this is for

You might be a chief executive, a managing director, a board director or the head of a large department, in a company, an NHS trust, a local authority, a school trust or a charity.

The setting varies, but the pressures can feel remarkably similar.

You’ve spent years building your career and taking on responsibility. You’re good at what you do, and people look to you for answers. But perhaps you’re starting to question what you want from the next chapter, whether that’s staying where you are, taking on something new or making a change you haven’t quite worked out yet.

If that sounds familiar, this is for you.

When leaders tend to get in touch

The board starts talking about succession, and you realise you've planned for the organisation's future but not your own.

You look around the leadership table and no longer feel sure you belong there, even though, on paper, you've never fitted better.

You realise your career has been shaped more by expectation and opportunity than by choice, and you're starting to wonder what you would have chosen.

You've been approached about a bigger role, and you can't tell whether you want it or just feel you should.

A restructure is reshaping your role, and you need to decide whether to adapt or go.

This is one-to-one coaching for leaders whose time is usually spent on the organisation's questions. It gives you regular, private time to work on your own position: what's really driving the question, which parts of your role and life still fit, and what you might want to change.

I won't hand you a plan or tell you what to do. I'll ask questions, challenge assumptions where it helps, and keep us focused on what you came to explore. Because the approach looks at the person as well as the role, we may touch on what has shaped your choices so far, always in service of deciding what comes next.

It isn't career advice and it isn't therapy. It fits alongside your day job, everything stays confidential, The aim is to give you the space to think things through properly, so whatever you decide comes from a clearer understanding of what matters to you.

What coaching involves

01

Free discovery session

We start with a 30-minute conversation, at no charge and with no obligation. You tell me what's on your mind, ask me anything about how I work, and we both see whether coaching makes sense. If it isn't right for you, we'll both know fairly quickly, and I won't chase you afterwards.

02

Six sessions over three months

We meet for six 60-minute sessions, every two weeks, over about three months. Sessions are usually online, but we can meet in person in Devon if you prefer. Between sessions there's a little light reflection, enough to keep the thinking going without adding to your workload.

03

A clear view of what comes next

Towards the end, we review where you've got to. You leave with a considered answer to what stays and what changes, and you decide whether to finish there, arrange occasional check-ins or continue with a further series.

How it works

I’ve carried the same weight

I’ve spent much of my working life alongside senior leaders, and I’ve led a business myself. I know what it’s like to carry responsibility, make decisions that affect other people and sometimes wonder what comes next.

In 2025, I found myself facing some of those questions personally. Working through them with a coach changed how I thought about my own future, and eventually led me to retrain.

For charities and third sector leaders

Leading a charity brings its own version of the question. The cause may have shaped your career, and stepping back can feel like letting people down. There's rarely budget, or permission, for support that's just for you. This is somewhere to ask honestly whether the role still fits, without it becoming a question of loyalty.
